The Indoor Sky Lounge: Fireside Ambiance & Views

Above It All
The Sudbury’s 32nd-floor Sky Lounge is your calm, polished perch above the city. The room stretches along a full wall of floor-to-ceiling windows, so the views hit you immediately—Boston Harbor, the Custom House Tower, and a sweep of skyline that shifts from bright daytime clarity to a deep blue glow at dusk. The lounge opens directly onto the Sky Deck, so the whole floor reads as one continuous indoor-outdoor space.
Inside, the layout is broken into a series of relaxed zones. There are curved sofas and low chairs near the linear fireplace, creating an easy hangout spot that stays warm without feeling formal. Farther in, game tables and a modern billiards setup add a social edge without overwhelming the room. Soft grey upholstery, wood accents, and patterned rugs add texture and personality.
The ceilings extend the visual interest. Crisp linear panels and suspended lighting give the space depth and keep the long room from feeling repetitive. Small seating clusters are placed intentionally so you can take in the view from almost any angle, whether you’re by the windows, near the bar, or in the quieter seating area toward the back.
What makes the Sky Lounge stand out is its flexibility. It’s comfortable enough for a casual night in, great for working from home during the day, and open enough that the view is the real focal point. And with the doors sliding out to the Sky Deck, it becomes a full-floor retreat that shifts easily from indoor lounge to open-air lookout.
